Naga Chaitanya has teamed up with director Venkat Prabhu for a bilingual cop action drama film called “Custody,” which has been shot in Tamil and Telugu. The film, starring Naga Chaitanya as a police constable, has hit theatres in both languages today. Krithi Shetty has been cast as the female lead opposite Naga Chaitanya.
Srinivasaa Silver Screen produced Custody, written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. The movie stars Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty as the lead pair, while Arvind Swami, Priyamani, Sarathkumar, Sampath Raj, Vennela Kishore, and others play pivotal roles.
The music for the film is composed by Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja, which received a positive response from the audience. Venkat Raajen serves as the editor, and SR Kathir is the Director of Photography.
The film Custody revolves around Shiva, a police constable played by Naga Chaitanya, who is deeply in love with Revathi, portrayed by Krithi Shetty. The story is set in a village near Rajahmundry in the 1990s. A notorious gangster named Raju, played by Arvind Swami is arrested for his crimes and needs to be taken to court.
While transporting Raju, a rival gang tries to kill him, and Shiva steps up to protect him. Along the way, Revathi joins them after escaping from her arranged marriage with Vennela Kishore’s character.
