2 CRPF jawans injured in Chhattisgarh IED blast

Two CRPF jawans sustained injuries in an IED blast on Monday in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh. The attack, orchestrated by a group of Naxals, took place near Tekameta hill while the CRPF’s 85th battalion was conducting an area-domination operation.

The blast occurred at around 10:30 a.m. and the incident site is approximately 400 km away from Raipur, the state capital. The injured CRPF received initial treatment at the district hospital and are being airlifted to Raipur for further medical assistance, as stated by the Chhattisgarh Police.

This incident follows the tragic death of 10 District Reserve Guard CRPF in an IED blast in Dantewada district in April.
