200 Passengers fire on Air India after a flight gets delayed!

Air India has faced the wrath of its passengers after the flight got delayed for nearly 7 hours. 200 passengers were left stranded in the airport the whole night after the airline authorities failed to find a pilot in time.
Flight No. AI 031 was scheduled to depart from Mumbai to Ahmedabad at 0135 Hours. But the flight left Mumbai at 0820 hours, nearly 7 hours behind the scheduled departure time.
The 200 passengers who were scheduled to travel on the Boeing 777 flight got furious after the Air India ground crew showed lack of professionalism. ‘The way the Air India staff notified the delay was absolutely pathetic. We all were forced to spend the night in the boarding area itself. How the airline is so careless failing to get a pilot on board,’ said a passenger.
After the delay extended for more than 3 hours, the passengers tried to obstruct the Air India crew from handling other departures and arrivals. There has been heightened situation after the passengers got into a verbal spat with Air India staff.
The Air India latter issued a statement that ‘the delay was caused due to crew constraints and Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) issue.’
