Three men were dead on the sets of Indian 2 film after a crane on which they were lying on split aside and collapsed to the ground. All the three were assistant directors of the movie.
Nine others were injured.
The men were inside the box-like edifice on top of the crane when it collapsed. It seems they were working on lighting for the shoot. The event occurred at 9:30 pm on Wednesday a police officer told a media agency.
Director Shankar is preparing the sequence to the 1996 film, Indian. Police sources stated it’s not known whether the director when the crane came crashing down.
The accident is severe. I lost three associates. More than my sadness, the pain of their families would be enormous. I share their grief. My deep sympathies to them kamal Haasan stated.
Indian 2, is being seen as Kamal Haasan’s film that dallies in politics.
