535 test Covid-positive, J&K tally stands at 37,698

Five hundred and thirty-five persons tested positive in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) on Monday as the number of people infected with Covid-19 jumped to 37,698 in the Union Territory.

A statement by the Information and Public Relations department said on Monday that 535 persons had tested positive, of which 245 were from Jammu and 290 from Kashmir.

The number of COVID-infected people has reached 37,698 in J&K.

Nine patients died in different hospitals on Monday while 505 were discharged after recovery.

Seven hundred and three people have been killed by the dreaded virus in J&K till now.

As many as 29,015 patients have recovered while the number of active cases was now 7,980 in J&K, of which 2,192 were from Jammu and 5,788 from Kashmir.
