More than 12,000 delegates from India and other countries are expected to join the 66th All India Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology 2024, organized by the Obstetrics & Gynaecological Society of Hyderabad (OGSH). The event will take place at the HICC & HITEX in Hyderabad from January 6 to 10.
The Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, will inaugurate the event, along with the presence of Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha and Women and Child Welfare Minister Dansari Anasuya.
The Congress aims to highlight the latest trends and advancements in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, focusing on themes such as Obstetric Medicine, Emerging Technologies in Obgyn, Environment & Reproduction, Sexual Reproductive Rights and Health, and Pelvic Medicine, as mentioned in a press release.
Key features of the event include 25 pre-Congress workshops, Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, 264 hours of academic discussions featuring 60 renowned international faculty, 1,000 national faculty members, 1,200 oral and poster presentations, and active participation from about 12,000 delegates.
