The first Tollywood actor to receive a National Film Award is Telugu actor Allu Arjun, whose iconic gesture from the movie Pushpa: The Rise caused an international sensation. He attended the awards ceremony in New Delhi today with his wife Sneha Reddy and the film’s producers.
He spoke to the media after being presented with this esteemed honor and shared his emotions, saying, “This moment is beyond words. I’m genuinely touched and honored. It is a double accomplishment for me to receive this award for a commercial movie like “Pushpa.” He gestured as he recited Taggede Le, one of the film’s most famous lines, to end his speech.
Pushpa 2: The Rule, the currently in development sequel, is slated for release on August 15, 2024, and Allu Arjun is expected to make an appearance. In addition to Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jagadeesh, and Sunil also play significant roles in the film. Mythri Movie Makers is the producer of Pushpa 2, and Devi Sri Prasad is the composer.
