A 4.7-Magnitude Earthquake hits near Xinjiang, China

Tuesday’s earthquake in China’s Xinjiang province had a value of 4.7 on the Richter Scale, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).

It was discovered that the earthquake that struck today at 14:49:16 IST had a depth of 27 kilometers.

“An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 struck Xinjiang on October 31, 2023, at 14:49:16 IST, with coordinates of Lat: 37.70 & Long: 75.22, depth: 27 km.” the NCS said on X.

Reports of casualties are invalid. More information is anticipated.
