Three ladies were beaten by J. Anjaneyulu, a ward member from Morsapudi village in Nuziveedu mandal, Eluru district, when their sheep inadvertently wandered into his land.

T. Ramakrishna, the sub-inspector of Nuziveedu, stated that one of the animals got into Anjaneyulu’s farm while the ladies were grazing their sheep. Even when the women apologized and clarified that their sheep had inadvertently wandered onto his farm, Anjaneyulu grew irate and began to beat them.

The three women were brought to Nuziveedu’s government hospital for admission. Anjaneyulu is the subject of a case that the Nuziveedu Rural Police have filed.
