Actress Kangana Ranaut Almost Died While Filming

Bollywood beauty, and one of the leading actresses among her contemporaries, Kangana Ranaut revealed spine-chilling details about her on-going film ‘Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi’. As the title suggests, it is an upcoming epic biographical film about Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi, whose real name is Manikarnika.
The film has completed its first scheduled recently in Ramoji Film City. Key action sequences have been completed in the first schedule. The movie’s 2nd schedule is currently going on in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
Speaking about her experience while shooting for the film, ‘it is clearly understood from the film title. The film is a war-drama. I am playing a very challenging role, the title role of Manikarnika (The Queen of Jhansi) in the movie.
I even learned horse-riding and sword fighting. I was met with many accidents throughout the shooting. In one of the accidents, I thought I almost lost my life’.
Surprisingly, Kangana Ranaut is being paid Rs 11 crores as remuneration for a Bollywood movie. Though the remuneration for this upcoming war-drama is not known, trade analysts feel that it should be around Rs 16 crores – Rs 18 crores. SS Rajamouli’s father, and writer of Baahubali, Vijayendra Varma wrote the story for this film.
