Senior heroine Meena has decided to test his luck in a digital world. Meena is making her entry into the digital world with a web-series titled ‘Karoline Kamakshi’. It is a Tamil comedy thriller web series which will be streamed on Zee5 from 5th December. The makers have launched Meena starring Karoline Kamakshi trailer which is giving a shock to Meena’s fans. The power-packed trailer indicates that Meena has a strong character in this web series Karoline Kamakshi which is about a deadly mission to find the missing Virgin Mary.
Everyone is shocked after watching Meena’s bold act, as she mouths some expletives which are quite opposite to her docile image. She is essaying the role of a traditional Tamil brahmin lady in this web series Karoline Kamakshi. Meena is using swear words like ‘lo****y ke b**” and ‘beh***od’. The web series is being directed by Vivek.
Apart from Meena, the wen series also has Georgia Angelina and Anto in lead roles. Karoline Kamakshi is all about the story of Karoline, a badass French detective, and Kamakshi, a traditional Tamil brahmin girl. Both have a common motive of nabbing the drug lord, Furkin.
Directed by Vivek Kumar Kannan, a former associate of director Bala, the web series is an action-packed comedy-drama. Earlier Vivek Kumar Kannan has worked as an executive producer for many films Trend Loud Digital India is producing the series. this is its 10th production venture and fourth association with Zee5, after America Mappillai, What’s Up Velakari & What’s up Panimanishi.
This senior actress Meena was last seen in Mohan Babu’s Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu’ and she was also seen in ‘Saakshyam’.
This series Karoline Kamakshi will mark a significant departure in the way Meena has been portrayed in cinema and TV so far. She’s a proven performer but has been relegated to playing soft roles. Hopefully, this web series Karoline Kamakshi will help change that perception.
