Adani Group’s Big Investments Spark Excitement in Telangana

The Adani Group just shared some big plans for Telangana, promising to invest a whopping Rs 12,400 crore in various areas over the next few years. In a meeting at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani and Adani Aerospace and Defence CEO Ashish Rajvanshi signed four agreements with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and IT Minister D Sridhar Babu.

Here’s the scoop: Adani Green Energy will spend Rs 5,000 crore on two pumped storage projects in Telangana, generating 1350 MW of power. Meanwhile, AdaniConneX Data Centers is putting in another Rs 5,000 crore to build a massive data center in Chandanvelly with a total capacity of 100 MW. Ambuja Cements is also getting in on the action, investing Rs 1,400 crore in a cement grinding unit with a capacity of 6.0 MTPA.

In addition, Adani Aerospace and Defence plans to invest Rs 1,000 crore in counter-drone systems and missile development at their Aerospace and Defence Park near Hyderabad.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy assured the Adani Group that the state government will provide all the necessary support for these projects. During the meeting, Gautam Adani praised the investor-friendly approach of the new government in Telangana and expressed confidence that with the planned policies, more investments will flow in.

So, Telangana is set to see some major growth, and the Adani Group is all in for it!
