Tollywood icon Nandamuri Balakrishna has finally confirmed the release date of his much-awaited sequel, Akhanda 2: Thandavam, putting an end to weeks of speculation. The action-packed spiritual drama, directed by Boyapati Sreenu, is officially slated for a grand theatrical release on September 25, 2025.
Georgia Schedule Wraps, Climax Ready
The film recently completed a major schedule in Georgia, where the crucial climax scenes featuring Balayya and other lead actors were shot with high-octane intensity. With this milestone, the team is inching closer to wrapping up post-production in time for its pan-India release.
Balayya Confirms: No Postponement
Balakrishna, who appeared at a jewelry store inauguration event in Eluru alongside co-star Samyukta Menon, addressed the media and cleared the air about Akhanda 2’s release.
“There won’t be any delay. Akhanda 2 will hit the screens worldwide on September 25,” he said, confirming a direct box office clash with Pawan Kalyan’s OG.
This announcement has set the stage for one of the biggest Tollywood showdowns of the year.
