In a move that confirms one of the most talked-about box office battles of 2025, Balakrishna’s much-awaited Akhanda 2 is officially releasing on September 25, the same day as Pawan Kalyan’s high-octane action film OG, directed by Sujeeth.
Rumors had previously suggested that Akhanda 2 might shift its date to avoid a clash. But now, with dubbing wrapped and post-production nearing completion, the makers have locked in the date and are gearing up for an aggressive promotional campaign.

The production team released a behind-the-scenes image showing Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu at the dubbing suite, officially announcing the milestone. Post-Production in Full Swing
From CGI and background score to final mixing, all technical work is proceeding simultaneously, with the first copy expected within three weeks. Once locked, the makers plan to launch a massive promotional campaign leading up to the release.
