The highly anticipated upcoming movie “Agent,” starring Akhil Akkineni, is the directorial debut of Surender Reddy and marks his first pan-Indian film. The spy action thriller film features Akhil in a new avatar, transforming from a lover-boy to a masculine action hero with six-pack abs and a fierce look. The movie is set to release worldwide on April 28th.
Recently, the makers of the film released a special poster featuring Akhil on his birthday, unveiling a masculine and fierce look. Yesterday, Akhil unveiled the movie’s poster and announced the trailer launch in style by performing a wild stunt at a mall in Vijayawada. Akhil jumped from a building at a height of 172 feet, giving fans a glimpse of the stunts performed in the movie. This was a first for a Tollywood actor and thrilled audiences present at the mall.
Surender Reddy directed “Agent,” with Vakkantham Vamsi penning the story. The movie is produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara and Surender Reddy under the AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema banners, with Hip Hop Tamizha scoring the music. Naveen Nooli serves as the editor, while Rasool Ellore is the cinematographer. The movie shall hit screens across the globe in different languages.
The official trailer for “Agent” is set to be released on the 18th of this month at McLaurin High School grounds in Kakinada.
