A historical sports drama inspired by India’s first Olympic gold medal, the film traces the “golden era” of Indian hockey through the journey of Tapan Das (Akshay Kumar), a young assistant manager in 1936, who dreams of playing for an independent nation.
The Arjun award winner and former India hockey team captain ‘Sundeep Singh’ has trained the actors for this film. Although, Akshay Kumar latest movie Pad Man became the biggest hit. We know that he is acting in Rajnikanth’s 2.0 as the villain. Although, heroine Mouni Roy is a television actress and she has acted in a few movies but this is her full-length heroine role.
