Alcohol ban: AP CM Jagan to limit the liquor sales

Date:

It is reported the Jagan government is taking steps to ban liquor gradually.
Alcohol sales currently run from 10 am to 10 pm.
The liquor is expected to be sold only from 10 am to 6 pm.
The government assumes that alcohol sales will drop drastically compared to regular sales.

In fact, after 6 pm, alcohol sales are gaining momentum. Employees and daily wagers drink too much alcohol at night.
As a result, the government plans to significantly reduce alcohol sales by bundling liquor shops at 6 pm.
The new policy will come into effect from October. Against this backdrop, the government is working on several proposals.
