Allu Arjun is a popular Indian actor known for his contributions to the Telugu film industry. Born on April 8, 1983, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Allu Arjun hails from the prestigious Allu film family. He is the son of renowned Telugu film producer Allu Aravind and Nirmala Allu, and the grandson of the veteran Telugu actor Allu Ramalingaiah.

Allu Arjun made his acting debut at the age of 19 with the film “Gangotri” in 2003, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. However, it was his second film, “Arya” (2004), directed by Sukumar, that catapulted him to stardom. His exceptional performance in the romantic drama earned him critical acclaim and a massive fan following.

Allu Arjun has had a successful career in the film industry, appearing in several notable movies including Arya 2 (2009), Vedam (2010), Julayi (2012), Race Gurram (2014), S/O Satyamurthy (2015), Rudhramadevi (2015), Sarrainodu (2016), DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham (2017), Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020), and Pushpa: The Rise (2021). His performances in Vedam, where he played a lower-class cable operator, and Race Gurram, where he portrayed a carefree and street-smart character, earned him two Filmfare Awards for Best Actor in Telugu cinema.
