Date:

Home Minister Amit Shah assured the public of the BJP government’s commitment to implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) nationwide, emphasizing it as ‘Modi ki Guarantee’ during an election rally in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna. Shah criticized the Congress for its appeasement politics and pledged to uphold the Uniform Civil Code, asserting it as integral to the country’s constitutional fabric.

Additionally, he highlighted the peaceful transition following the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, contrasting it with previous Congress warnings of bloodshed. Amidst the political landscape, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia’s transition to contesting from Guna on the BJP symbol marked a significant political shift, following his defection from the Congress alongside 22 loyalist MLAs.
