RBL has set up an all-women branch today in Chennai. This bank happens to be a private sector bank. The branch of R. A. Puram in Chennai would be managed by eight women. This branch would be offering all products and services across liability and assets, announced the bank.

RBL Bank, Branch and Business Banking, Head –Geography, Surinder Chawla said, “It is a matter of immense pride for all of us to launch our first all women branch in Chennai, he also adds, saying that “this is a full-service branch offering a range of products and services”. He further states that it a testament to the bank’s remarkable effort in encouraging gender equality.

RBL Bank presently serving 3.54 million customers across the country. It has over 246 branches and 389 ATM services in India.

We all know, that RBL is a scheduled commercial bank, whose headquarters are in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is founded in August 1943 and is one of the oldest private sector banks in India. It is a full-service bank and extends its services to small and medium enterprises, agricultural customers, retail customers, large corporations, development banking and finance including low-income customers.

Vishwavir Ahuja, is the current managing director and CEO of RBL bank, is a veteran in the banking industry with more than 35 years of experience.
