Anirudh Ravichander is a famous musician in Tamil cinema. But, he is failed to create the same impact in Telugu with his debut Telugu film Agnythavasi featured Pawan Kalyan and directed by Trivikram. This movie was the biggest disaster in Telugu box office so the musical album composed by Anirudh Ravichander was also not recognized well by the music lovers. Still, Anirudh is trying to hit the top league of musicians in Telugu like Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman.
Unlike this, Anirudh’s debut is a big failure to create a negative impression from the Telugu makers. At the time of Agnythavasi release event, director Trivikram said that Anirudh is the music composer for this next film with Jr. NTR. But, he was not considered Anirudh for the movie and taken Thaman on to the board for Aravinda Sametha. Depressed with the decision taken by Trivikram, Anirudh remained silent for months.
Now Anirudh Ravichander is back again to Tollywood and doing his second Telugu straight movie titled ‘Jersey’ directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. This movie features Nani in the lead role and playing a cricketer role. Nani said that Jersey movie had the scope for peppy music so they have considered Anirudh who is capable to compose trendy music. Nani is taking this movie as a challenge to avoid negative comments on doing regular commercial movies. Gowtam Tinnanuri is known for his successful debut film Malli Raava featured Sumanth in lead role. So, the expectations on this movie are really good and created positive buzz across Telugu audience.
