The blockbuster response to Hanuman Ansh has encouraged the makers to expand the story into a franchise. Producer Namrata Singh has revealed that plans are already being discussed for both the second and third installments.
According to Namrata, Hanuman Ansh 2 is expected to revolve around Kainchi Dham, a spiritual destination closely associated with Neem Karoli Baba. The third installment, meanwhile, could take the story beyond India and explore an international setting.
Interestingly, the makers are also exploring the possibility of bringing popular personalities into the franchise. Namrata revealed that discussions are underway with several celebrities who are followers of Neem Karoli Baba, including Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Julia Roberts, for potential cameo appearances.
The original Hanuman Ansh chronicles the spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba and was directed by Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi. The film has managed to attract attention with its spiritual theme and storytelling.
Namrata also shared an interesting detail about the making of the first part. Despite the scale of the subject, the film was reportedly completed in just 22 days, while director Vishal Chaturvedi finished writing the screenplay in less than a month.
With the first film turning into a blockbuster and plans already taking shape for the next chapters, expectations are naturally rising around the Hanuman Ansh franchise. Whether the proposed celebrity cameos become a reality remains to be seen, but the sequel plans have certainly added to the buzz.
