Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati Locks New Release Date, Producer Promises Intense Action
Anushka Shetty’s much-awaited film Ghaati, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, was originally scheduled for release on July 11, 2025. However, to ensure top-notch quality and a grand cinematic experience, the makers extended the post-production timeline. The movie is now officially set to release on September 5, 2025.
So far, the makers have unveiled the teaser, trailer, and two songs, all of which received a strong response and heightened anticipation among fans.
Producer Rajeev Reddy, in a recent media interaction, shared some exciting details:
“Ghaati is a full-on commercial action drama with Krish’s trademark style. Anushka Shetty’s performance will be very intense and promises audiences a great theatrical experience. The same intensity seen in the teaser and trailer will continue throughout the film.”
Backed by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, Ghaati also stars Vikram Prabhu, Chaitanya Rao, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. Nagavelli Vidya Sagar has composed the music.
The film narrates the story of weed traders in a mountainous region, who resort to the unlawful profession for survival, setting the stage for a gripping commercial action drama. With Krish’s cinematic vision and Anushka Shetty’s powerhouse performance, Ghaati is poised to make a strong impact at the box office.
