After ruling Telugu and Tamil cinema, Anushka Shetty is finally stepping into Mollywood with the fantasy thriller Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer. Directed by Rojin Thomas, the film features Jayasurya in the lead and promises a never-before-seen cinematic experience.
Jayasurya’s Fierce First Look
On the occasion of Jayasurya’s birthday, the makers unveiled his first look poster. Sporting long hair, a rugged beard, and intense eyes, Jayasurya transforms into the legendary Kadamattathu Kathanar, a ninth-century sorcerer surrounded by myths and folklore.
The poster carries the tagline:
“The one who steals your time, your mind, your reality.”
This intriguing line hints at the mystical and psychological layers of his character.
What About Anushka’s Role?
While Jayasurya’s look is already the talk of the town, fans are eagerly waiting to see Anushka Shetty’s first look. Speculation is rife that she might also appear in a rustic, rugged avatar—similar to her role in Ghaati—but set in a completely different era.
