AP CM Chandrababu Naidu wants to see Andhra Pradesh as a ‘Zero-crime’ state

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu who was present at the ‘Foundation stone’ laying ceremony at the construction site of AP Forensic Science Laboratory, Thullur expressed that, he wishes to see Andhra Pradesh as a ‘zero-crime’ state in the coming few years.

Talking to the media relatives, Chandrababu said, ‘whatever might be the form of robbery or any crime, it is because of the police department and the state government. The criminals have come to a judgement that they can escape despite committing any kind of heinous crime in front of the law. I want the AP State Forensic Department should compete at global level, and should work with other law enforcement departments to ensure that no criminal gets away without being punished’.

‘The AP Forensic Lab is being constructed at international standards. We welcome Private-Public Partnership in the construction of the lab premises. I hope that our state’s forensic lab will receive international accolades for its contribution towards the society within three years from now,’ said Chandrababu Naidu.

DGP Sambasiva Rao said that the AP Forensic lab is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 400 crores. Chandrababu Naidu also advised the police officials to take training in lab management.
