Going by the results of recently held snap polls of Telangana, the APCC has learned valuable lessons about what to do and what not to do in the upcoming General Elections. One of APCC’s senior leader revealed the party’s stand on the alliance with TDP.
It is a known thing that TPCC collaborated with the T-TDP in the happened early elections of Telangana and lost miserably. From TPCC cadre to the Political analysts, they all declared that their tie-up with Telangana’s rival CBN proved costly for the Congress’s defeat in the results. Despite the failure, TPCC Chief Uttam showcased his soft corner on TDP head Chandrababu and declared that the latter is still a good friend. This statement of Uttam gave rise to many speculations that likewise TPCC, AP Congress is also looking forward to going along with TDP in the 2019 general elections. None other than the Congress senior leader Byrreddy Rajasekhar Reddy told the Press that no one in the APCC is interested to join hands with Chandrababu Naidu as they believe that a pact with CBN would cause further damage to the party’s vote bank.
Byrreddy is not the first one to speak against this alliance but in the past, seniormost leaders like Raghuveera Reddy, Kiran Kumar Reddy, and Sabbam Hari declared their will against CBN in order to go alone in the Political battle.
