But the high command of this party is trying hard to revive the party for the upcoming elections.From being the rulers of the state for continuous two terms to zero MLAs, the AP Congress wing lost its charm in AP. However, Sonia Gandhi lead Congress is struggling to come back into the active Politics in Andhra. The Prince of Congress, Rahul Gandhi passed orders to the AP Congress Committee to bring back the ex-bigwig leaders of Congress. The State’s in charge Omma Reddy the other day met the former CM Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy and made him agree to come back to the party for which the latter accepted.
Omma also promised Kiran to put in a National range position for his services.On the same note, the Congress is holding talks with senior most leaders like Undavalli Arun Kumar, Sabbam Hari, Harsha Kumar and many others to bring back the past vibrancy to the party. Already Chiru who bid farewell to active Politics is busy with his second innings after a decade in movies. Lagadapati declared his Political retirement post the bifurcation. So Rahul is concentrating more on Arun Kumar and Hari to strengthen the party.The main target of Congress is getting double digit figure in AP. Sources say that Kiran would lead the AP Congress for this elections. Soon the party’s head Rahul will start his election campaign in the two Telugu States.
