Apple is now competing in the AI space with a ChatGPT-style AI chatbot.
In order to compete with OpenAI ChatGPT, Microsoft, Google, and Meta, Apple is said to have entered the generative artificial intelligence (AI) competition by developing what is being described to as the “Apple GPT” internally. According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the iPhone manufacturer has developed its own AI framework, code-named “Ajax,” to generate extensive language models.
According to reports, Ajax utilises Google JAX, the search engine’s machine learning framework, and operates on Google Cloud. Apple is using Ajax to build substantial language models that will be the basis for an internal OpenAI -style tool.
The business did not respond right away to the report. The chatbot is reportedly being used by Apple engineers to assist with product prototyping. Bing AI, ChatGPT, and Bard are comparable to it.
