Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is reportedly gearing up to return with the second season of his directorial debut, The Bads of Bollywood. The comedy series emerged as a successful Netflix title and attracted strong viewership following its release.
The ending of the first season had already hinted at the possibility of another instalment. Now, according to an exclusive report by Variety India, The Bads of Bollywood Season 2 is expected to go on floors in March 2027. The report also states that the recurring cast members are set to return for the upcoming season.
The first season revolved around Aasmaan, an ambitious outsider determined to establish himself in the Hindi film industry. However, his journey takes an unexpected turn after he falls in love with the daughter of a major Bollywood star, creating a series of complications in both his personal and professional life.
Spanning seven episodes, the series combined comedy and satire with elements of drama, action, and emotion. Set against the backdrop of Bollywood, the show explored the ambitions, relationships, rivalries, and chaos surrounding the film industry.
The first season featured an ensemble cast including Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Sahher Bambba, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari, and Rajat Bedi in important roles.
Meanwhile, The Bads of Bollywood Season 2 is reportedly still in the writing stage. With production currently being planned for March 2027, more details about the storyline and returning characters are expected to emerge once the makers officially announce the project.
