Baahubali Franchise to Return to Theatres with Combined Epic Cut in October 2025
Maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017), redefined Indian cinema and catapulted stars like Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, and Rana Daggubati to pan-India stardom. The two-part epic shattered box office records, grossing over Rs 2,460 crore globally—Baahubali 1 earning Rs 650 crore and Baahubali 2 raking in a mammoth Rs 1,810 crore.
Now, in an exciting development, the makers of the Baahubali franchise are reportedly planning a global re-release in October 2025. But this isn’t just a standard theatrical comeback. Sources reveal that the team is preparing a special combined version, stitching together pivotal scenes from both films to create one immersive cinematic experience.
This trendsetting move follows the recent box office success of re-releases and could spark similar initiatives from other major franchises.
Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works, with a powerful score by MM Keeravani, Baahubali not only showcased the grandeur of Telugu filmmaking but also transformed the landscape of Indian cinema.
As fans eagerly await more details, this re-release promises to reignite the Baahubali magic on the big screen once again. Stay tuned for official updates!
