Baahubali in Japan

Baahubali, which is often referred as the biggest cinema in Indian Film history is all set to create history once again. Baahubali – 2 became the first Indian film to cross the 1500 Crores mark. The current global collections of Baahubali – 2 stands at whopping 1700 Crores. Now the film is gearing up for its release in Japan. The film is slated to hit the Japanese theatres on 29th December 2017.
The film received ‘G’ certificate from the Japanese Film Certification Board. This is similar to the ‘U’ certificate issued by the CBFC in India.
As of now, Rajinikanth movies are the synonym for Indian movies in Japan. With the release of Baahubali – 2, things are likely to change. The producers and distributors are expecting Baahubali – 2 to be a grand success even in Japan. While Prabhas fans are hoping that their hero will become as famous as Rajinikanth in Japan with the release of Baahubali – 2. While the production unit is expressing that Prabhas would soon become an ‘International’ star with the success of the Japanese dubbing version.
