Today, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) bestowed the prestigious Golden Ticket upon Superstar Rajinikanth in recognition of his unparalleled contributions to the world of cinema. Rajinikanth became the third Indian, and the first from South India, to receive this esteemed honor. The BCCI is actively promoting the 2023 World Cup and has been presenting the Golden Ticket to renowned celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar.
During the ceremony, the BCCI Honorary Secretary, Jay Shah, personally handed over the Golden Ticket to Rajinikanth. This ticket grants him special privileges and VIP treatment for attending the upcoming World Cup. Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, and Sachin Tendulkar have all been recognized with the Golden Ticket, celebrating their unwavering passion and dedication to their respective fields.
