Bhairavam Now Streaming on ZEE5: A Strategic Gamble in Telugu & Hindi
The action-packed drama Bhairavam, the official Telugu remake of the Tamil hit Garudan, is now available to stream on ZEE5. Released in theatres on May 30, 2025, the film features Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Nara Rohit, and Manchu Manoj in lead roles, with direction by Vijay Kanakamedala.
Though its theatrical run received mixed to lukewarm reviews, the film’s OTT debut is making headlines, not just for its digital release, but for its dual-language rollout. Bhairavam has also been released directly in Hindi, aiming to capture the growing North Indian appetite for South Indian action dramas.
This unconventional strategy—bypassing a theatrical Hindi release in favor of a direct OTT drop—signals a shift in how regional cinema is leveraging pan-Indian popularity via streaming platforms.
