The former captain of cricket India and the former parliamentary member of Congress Azharuddin is all set to make a jump to the ruling party TRS.There is wide speculation that Azhar is going to shift his base to TRS ahead of general elections but the high command was successful in convincing him. Later he was also given the post of Telangana Congress party working president. But the poor performance of Congress party in general elections has poured water on the dreams of this former parliamentarian.
Azharuddin who has expected an M.P ticket from Secunderabad segment has been rejected by Congress high command and has asked him to contest from Malkajgiri. Keeping the present scenario in mind, Azhar has decided to take a turn and shift his loyalties to TRS. There are huge speculations that even KCR has given his consent to Azhar for contesting from Secunderabad segment on TRS ticket.So all the ways seem to be clear for his former captain and he is expected to join TRS officially very soon.
