The contestant with the tallest tower at the end of the task would become the new captain. Geethu Royal won the captaincy task and became the new captain of the Bigg Boss house. The contestants were divided into two teams for the luxury budget task this week. The teams had to compete against each other in a series of challenges. The winning team in the luxury budget task would get to enjoy a special meal and other luxuries.

The contestants had to nominate each other based on their performance in the house and their behavior towards other contestants.The contestants nominated each other in pairs. The pairs with the most nominations were put up for elimination.
