The most popular Telugu reality show, Bigg Boss Telugu, is all set to return with its 9th season from August 22. The makers have already started raising the buzz by sharing regular updates on the new season.
This time, Bigg Boss organizers have taken extra care in the selection of contestants. For the first time, alongside celebrities, common people are also getting a golden opportunity to enter the Bigg Boss house. As part of this, a special contest named Bigg Boss Agnipariksha was introduced.
From over 20,000 applicants, 45 people were shortlisted after several rounds of filtering. They were given tasks in the Agnipariksha program, and only five of them will eventually enter Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9.
Among the contestants, many interesting personalities stood out—such as a masked man, Anusha Ratnam from Telangana, a woman of Gangavva’s age, and more. But the one who caught everyone’s attention was Prasanna Kumar.
Prasanna Kumar, who is differently-abled, is not only a photographer but also a traveler, biker, lecturer, and marathon runner. He even secured a place in the Indian Book of Records. Earlier, he was appreciated by Balakrishna himself during the talk show Unstoppable with NBK. Fans believed his entry into Bigg Boss would inspire millions.
However, according to social media buzz, Prasanna Kumar has reportedly been eliminated from the selection process, leaving fans disappointed.
Now, all eyes are on the final contestants’ list of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9.
