Shrashti Varma Becomes First Eliminated Contestant in Bigg Boss Season 9
The first week of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9, hosted by hero Nagarjuna, has officially come to an end, marking the season’s very first elimination. Choreographer Shrashti Varma was evicted from the house, making her the first contestant to exit the show this season.
Interestingly, many viewers had expected another female contestant to be eliminated, but the surprise decision sent Shrashti out instead.
Before entering the house, Shrashti had shared that everyone—including herself—wears a mask in the outside world, but in shows like Bigg Boss, one’s true personality eventually comes out. She also noted that while contestants may manage to act for a couple of weeks, maintaining a façade becomes impossible over time.
This season of Bigg Boss stands out as it gives equal importance to commoners along with celebrities. A total of nine celebrities and six commoners stepped into the house. Among the nominated contestants, Sanjana and Tanuja survived elimination this week.
