The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a 24-hour protest on September 30 at Dharna Chowk to pressurize the State government to fulfil its promises to the farming community, especially regarding the crop loan waiver scheme.
BJP Legislature Party leader A Maheshwar Reddy, while addressing the media on Friday, emphasized that the party is committed to standing with farmers to ensure they receive justice. He criticized the Congress for failing to implement the promises made during the Rythu Declaration in Warangal, alleging that the government has delayed its implementation.
“It’s been nine months since the Congress came to power, yet none of its guarantees have been fulfilled properly,” Reddy claimed. He accused the Congress of deceiving farmers by not delivering on poll promises. “The government hasn’t even released the Rythu Bandhu amounts, and the crop loan waiver is incomplete. BJP will not rest until farmers get the justice they deserve,” he said.
