BJP, Jana Sena and TDP Public Meeting on March 17

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu, and Jana Sena leader and actor Pawan Kalyan are set to share a stage after a decade. This momentous occasion will take place at a public meeting in Chilakaluripet on March 17, marking the launch of the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) campaign for the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh.

The public meeting in Chilakaluripet, located in Palnadu district, holds significant importance as it signifies the first joint appearance of the three parties since forming an electoral alliance. Notably, Naidu had not shared a public platform with PM Modi since the TDP’s departure from the BJP-led NDA coalition in 2018. However, this event marks a significant departure from that trend, signaling a new phase of cooperation among the parties.

The upcoming gathering will also mark the first time in a decade that Modi, Naidu, and Pawan Kalyan will address a public meeting together. Their last joint campaign efforts date back to 2014. While Jana Sena did not contest elections at that time, Pawan Kalyan actively campaigned for the TDP-BJP alliance. Now, with the TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena Party (JSP) joining forces, the March 17 event aims to kick off their joint campaign on a grand scale.

Efforts are underway to ensure the success of the March 17 public meeting, with the TDP, BJP, and JSP collaborating to make it a significant event in launching their collective campaign. The rally serves as a platform for the leaders to address the electorate, presenting a unified front and articulating their vision for the state’s future.
