Former BJP MLA Requests High Court-Appointed Panel for Inquiry in Naidu Case:

Vishnu Raju, the BJP state vice-president and former MLA, has called for an internal committee from the AP High Court to review the arrest and detention of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N.Chandrababu Naidu in connection with the Skill Development Corporation case. Raju expressed confidence that Naidu’s reputation would remain untarnished and asserted that the ACB court’s decision had surprised the legal community.

Describing the arrest and detention as politically motivated, the BJP leader alleged that the case had been pending for a considerable period, with Chief Minister Jagan Reddy actively pursuing Naidu.

Raju also found it perplexing that the state CID had not implicated the officials supposedly involved, such as the former chief secretary or the former MD of the AP Skill Development Corporation, in the alleged wrongdoing. He expressed concerns about Naidu’s safety and suggested that, if necessary, he should be placed under house arrest rather than being held in a central prison.
