BJP Putting Chandrababu Away with Polavaram project?

Undoubtedly, the Polavaram project and Capital City Amaravati would be the most powerful weapons in the artillery of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu. Understanding the severity of the Polavaram project and its influence in the state politics, the BJP at the Centre started playing its move.
After the Ministry of Water Resources asked the AP government to cancel the current contractors for the Polavaram project and callout for fresh tenders, the AP CM fired on the BJP. Probably for the first in the last 3 years, Chandrababu Naidu reacted in a harsh manner with BJP.
Immediately, the AP state BJP leaders arranged a meeting [in Vice President Venkaiah Naidu’s office] with the Water Resources Department officials and Cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari to discuss on the impact of Polavaram project in the 2019 AP state elections.
The Centre calmed down the AP State CM and promised that it is its responsibility to get the Polavaram project completed by 2019 as promised. Though this looks like a positive aspect to the people of Andhra Pradesh, it is definitely not a good sign for the TDP and Chandra Babu.
The Centre indirectly took hold of the Polavaram Project. And it is understood that BJP will claim the Polavaram Project under its achievements, thereby putting a checkmate to Chandrababu in this context.
