The BJP calls upon Governor CP Radhakrishnan to initiate a CBI investigation into the phone tapping incidents that occurred during the previous government’s tenure. Led by BJP Rajya Sabha member K Laxman, a delegation submits a memorandum to the Governor, highlighting the need for a thorough probe into the matter, citing concerns about national security and individual liberties. Laxman criticizes the State government’s reluctance to take action against those responsible for the phone tapping, emphasizing that only a CBI investigation can unveil the truth.
