Popularly known as the “Niagara of Telangana,” Bogatha Waterfalls have turned into a breathtaking spectacle after receiving heavy inflows from continuous rainfall in the upper catchment areas and neighboring Chhattisgarh. The waterfall is currently witnessing a powerful surge, creating a stunning natural view that has attracted the attention of nature lovers and tourists.

However, with water flowing at dangerous levels, the Forest Department and local police have imposed safety restrictions at the tourist spot. Visitors are not being allowed to enter the swimming pools near the falls, and barricades have been installed to prevent accidents. Officials have urged tourists to cooperate and follow safety guidelines until water levels return to normal.
Meanwhile, several streams across Mulugu district, including Jampanna Vagu and Deyyala Vagu, are also flowing in full spate due to the widespread rainfall. Although many visitors are arriving to witness the spectacular view of Bogatha Waterfalls, authorities are advising everyone to prioritize safety and avoid entering restricted areas.
