Brijesh Singh is appointed as the company’s worldwide AI chief by Wipro
Wipro, a prominent IT company, has appointed Brijesh Singh as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for its Enterprise Futuring division.
With more than 30 years of experience in technology consulting, Singh previously served as a Senior Partner at Deloitte, where he played a crucial role in driving AI and data-led transformations.
This appointment follows Wipro’s substantial $1 billion investment in AI and the introduction of Wipro AI360, a comprehensive AI-first innovation ecosystem. The investment plan is focused on expanding AI, data, and analytics solutions, developing new research and development projects and platforms, and enhancing their ‘FullStride Cloud’ and consulting capabilities.
Wipro AI360 aims to build upon the company’s extensive decade-long investments in AI by integrating AI into all internal platforms, tools, and solutions, as well as those offered to clients. The initiative will bring together Wipro’s 30,000 experts in data analytics and AI with the technology and advisory ecosystem from their four global business lines.
In his role as Global Head of AI, Brijesh Singh will concentrate on advancing Wipro’s ai360 strategy, building the necessary capabilities to support and accelerate AI adoption across Wipro’s entire portfolio, and delivering AI-centric solutions to clients.
This appointment underscores Wipro’s commitment to incorporating responsible AI into all aspects of its operations and offerings, both internally and for its clients.
Brijesh Singh holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from BIT Sindri and will report to Nagendra Bandaru, Managing Partner & President of Enterprise Futuring at Wipro.
