Congress leaders are being called upon to clarify Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s recent address to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which he referred to Modi as ‘big brother’, a term contradictory to Rahul Gandhi’s criticism of Modi. BRS district president and MLC Tata Madhusudan highlighted similarities between Revanth Reddy’s approach and that of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, cautioning against potential shifts in loyalty.
Madhusudan criticized Congress leaders for their flip-flopping stance, noting their opposition to the LRS scheme during the BRS regime, only to support it after coming to power. He also highlighted the failure of the Congress government to fulfill promises like Aasara pensions and Rythu Bandhu, leaving citizens in dire straits.
The ongoing water and power crises, predicted by former CM K Chandrashekhar Rao, have underscored the challenges faced by the public, further emphasizing the need for accountability. Madhusudan praised BRS chief Chandrashekhar Rao for nominating MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra for Rajya Sabha, citing it as evidence of the party’s commitment to the welfare of BCs.
A thanksgiving meeting is scheduled in Khammam to express gratitude to Chandrashekhar Rao for nominating Ravichandra for Rajya Sabha and to kickstart MP Nama Nageswara Rao’s election campaign as the BRS Khammam Lok Sabha nominee. BRS working president KT Rama Rao is expected to attend the meeting, urging party members to show strong support for the initiatives.
