BRS MLAs Clarify Meeting with Chief Minister for Public Welfare

BRS MLAs from Medak district clarified on Wednesday that meeting Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was solely to address issues in their constituencies. Sunitha Laxma Reddy (Narsapur), K Prabhakar Reddy (Dubbak), G Mahipal Reddy (Patancheru), and Manik Rao (Zaheerabad) stated in a joint press conference that their visit aimed to represent the public and protocol issues.

They emphasized that meeting the Chief Minister and other Ministers for constituency development is not wrong. They affirmed their loyalty to the BRS party and denied any plans to switch to Congress. They assured their commitment to the BRS party till the end.

The MLAs clarified they had BRS leadership’s approval to meet Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and asserted their confidence in the party leadership. They expressed their right to interact with ministers for the state’s development.

They reported discussing irrigation projects in Medak district with the Chief Minister and expressed their willingness to meet him or other ministers again if needed. They highlighted informing the intelligence chief about protocol issues faced in their constituencies.

Sunita Laxma Reddy stated, “I am a disciplined leader working for the party. Baseless attributions are an attempt to defame us. We will file a defamation case against those responsible.” She explained the need for gunmen and discussed various issues with the Chief Minister.
