The recent developments in Andhra Pradesh politics have been driving the leading political analysts as crazy as anything. The TDP camp of A.P is going to take a rather harsh decision regarding its future course of action.
Despite being in alliance with the BJP party, the state government TDP failed to get promised fundings, special category status and other things which benefit the state. In this situation, the people of Andhra and also some part of TDP’s cadre are in a state of aversion with the center. Things like demonetization and GST added more fuel to the flame. Among these situations, some BJP leaders in Andhra started irking TDP leaders every now and then. On top of all these, the Chief CBN himself gave potshots on BJP leaders very recently. So all are curious about the TDP- BJP alliance for the next elections. Fresh news from the TDP camp reveals that the CM Chandrababu Naidu has fixed the day of 15th February as the judgment day of their alliance with BJP. A leader of TDP is claiming that CBN will watch the budget and check if there is anything benefiting the state of AP. If not, he is thinking to withdraw from the NDA alliance to fight on its own. On the same note, another MP is stating that the results of Karnataka might help CBN to take a final call without hesitation.
Whatever might be the case, if TDP withdraws from the alliance, then BJP might team up with the opposition YSRCP which will be a new headache for CBN. Also, the party Janasena’s final stand on its alliance with TDP matters a lot in this political game. For now, let us wait for the 15th of February for Chandrababu Naidu’s verdict.
