On Sunday 5pm, the entire nation stepped out to their balconies to thank medical professionals, nurses and other responders for their unrelenting support during the coronavirus crisis. Bollywood was not left behind as actors stepped out to their terraces and balconies to show their support to PM Narendra Modi’s initiative.
From Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone to Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar,Tolywood stars chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun Family,JR.NTR,Ram chran,pawan kalyan, Bollywood stars made sure to participate in the community actvity to thank people working relentlessly to fight coronavirus. They took to social media to post pictures and videos of their participation.
Akshay Kumar stepped out of his home with his neighbours and thanked the essential service providers by clapping and beating plates for them. Sharing a video, he wrote, “5 mins at 5 pm : With my neighbours taking a moment to appreciate those who do not have this luxury of staying at home and working tirelessly to keep us safe. Thank you to all the essential service providers for your selfless work.
