Chahar ruled out of final ODI due to lower back pain

Date:

India seamer Deepak Chahar has been ruled out of the third ODI against West Indies due to some pain in his lower back. Navdeep Saini has been called up as his replacement.

Saini, who hasn’t played any ODI cricket for India, will join the team in Cuttack as the third seamer in the squad alongside Mohammed Shami and Shardul Thakur. He last turned out in Indian colors in a T20I series against South Africa in September but wasn’t part of the subsequent T20Is against Bangladesh on grounds of injury.

The third and final ODI between India and West Indies takes place on Sunday
