Chandrababu Naidu Not Supporting For Special Category Status

BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao made sensational comments on Chandrababu Naidu. He recently got elected as Rajya Sabha MP. Speaking to the media, GVL Narasimha Rao said, ‘Chandrababu Naidu is aware that the Centre cannot grant Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh 4 years back itself.
At that time, when the Centre came with the Special Package proposal, the AP CM himself has lauded and appreciated the Centre. What happened now? Why did he take a U-turn in this context? He is targeting BJP for political advantage.
When asked for the accountability, Chandrababu Naidu never turned up. In turn, he is criticizing us now. AP people are keenly observing the developments. From the last 4 years, the Centre sanctioned Rs 2.44 Lakh Crores to Andhra Pradesh.
During the Congress rule, the state received only Rs 1.15 Lakh Crores. We have all the documents to prove our claims. While Chandrababu says he doesn’t have the accounts of those funds. Chandrababu is only interested in promoting himself in AP Assembly, and doesn’t have answers to our questions’.It looks like the fight with BJP is likely to cost TDP gravely in the upcoming elections.
